Jb Johnson started researching hovercraft in 2005 to understand how ACVs could make a difference on the African continent, beyond the spec sheet. Inspired by the original hovercraft pioneers, he decided to get his hands on South African designed two-seater and three-seater ACV prototypes, to improve on their designs. After years of first-hand experience, discovering the advantages and limitations (of his smaller recreational versions) and paying his “school fees”, John founded Mr Hovercraft with the support of Amphibious Marine USA. His mission? To supply reliable, efficient and superbly designed commercial hovercraft that perform as advertised, and will deliver years of absolute low-flying pleasure, air-cushioned passion and adventure!
